[Manifestations of allergic reactions occurring at a dental appointment]. / Proyavleniya allergicheskikh reaktsii, voznikayushchikh na stomatologicheskom prieme.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the data of modern scientific literature to conduct a study on identifying the true allergic reaction at a dental appointment. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The article is based on the study of materials from domestic and foreign research databases eLibrary, PubMed, Cochrane Database Systematic Reviews. The research period is 15 years. RESULTS: Among dental materials, the most common allergens are local anesthetics, metal alloys, components of composite materials, latex. CONCLUSION: If allergy is suspected, it is necessary to carefully collect an anamnesis and conduct a clinical examination of the patient with the involvement of specialist doctors, with the recommendation of skin tests and test subcutaneous provocation.

[Effect of exogenous nitrogen oxide on the hamster buccal sac capillaries after ultraviolet exposure]. / Vliianie ékzogennogo oksida azota na mikrososudy sashchechnogo meshka khomiachka posle ul'trafioletovogo oblucheniia.

Effects of exogenous nitrogen oxide (NO) on the time course of results of laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) and biomicroscopy of the buccal sac capillaries were studied in a hamster pre-exposed to UV light. After NO treatment capillary vasodilatation was replaced by vasoconstriction in the focus of UV exposure. Parameters calculated by Dopplerograms indicate an increase of the vascular tone.

Arteriolar and venular reactions and capillary blood flow in response to exogenous nitric oxide were studied on the hamster buccal sac capillaries. Heterogeneous reactions of capillaries were observed after exposure to NO; vasoconstriction and vasodilatation were observed equally often, the reactions of arterioles and venules being specific. The microcirculation index changed negligibly, the fluxmotion index increased due to increasing effects of active mechanisms, and the vascular tone decreased.

[Role of microflora in diseases of the buccal mucosa]. / Rol' mikroflory v patologii slizistoi obolochki rta.

The role of microflora was studied in patients with diseases of the buccal mucosa (aphthous stomatitis, lichen planus, leukoplasia, desquamative glossitis, etc.). Quantitative and qualitative composition of the microflora and its sensitivity to antibiotics, antifungal agents, and bacteriophages were studied. The following changes in the microflora were distinguished: dysbiotic shift, dysbacteriosis of the I-II, III, and IV degree. Microbiological status of patients with diseases of the buccal mucosa is essential for the course, outcome, and prognosis of the underlying diseases.

[An experimental study of the action of an intraosseous implant of hydroxylapatite ceramic granules on the processes of reparative bone formation (experimental morphological research)]. / Eksperimental'noe izuchenie vozdeistviia intraossal'noi podsadki granuliata keramiki gidroksilapatita na protsessy reparativnogo kosteobrazovaniia (éksperimental'no-morfologicheskoe issledovanie).

Presents a morphologic picture of the time course of repair osteogenesis after replacement of femoral bone defect in rats by hydroxyapatite ceramic granules. Excellent morphofunctional quality of newly formed bone regenerate in optimal terms is demonstrated.
